Dumpster Dog

On a dark and mystical night, behind a city dumpster lay a flea ridden bony dog snuggling her three puppies. The mother left her puppies as she always did, as she went to scavenge for food. Alas she could find no food. So the other decided to go and cross the long and busy highway that she could see in the distance, to see if the food was better on the other side.

After a cold but peaceful nights rest she decided that this was the time to go. She gradually got up and looked around, she started heading towards the road.

She had crossed one section of the highway safely when she stopped to take a to look around at the loud humming of cars as they passed by, as she did that she started walking straight onto the middle of the highway without noticing. When suddenly she felt a sudden rush of air and a particularly loud noise coming closer, as she turned around he felt a sharp pain in her head when it was too late. The last thing she saw was black!

Meanwhile another dog was scavenging on the other side of the highway when he saw her lying on the road. The dog came closer and then just managed to cross the road because there was a bumper to bumper traffic jam so the cars weren't moving. He then gently licked her head where there was a bit of blood oozing out and then pulled her by the scruff of her flea ridden neck, off the highway onto a lush piece of grass.

Awoken to licking and under warm comfort the female dog woke. She looked up and saw a kind loving face of this male dog. They both gradually got up stretched, and then gazed up at an incredible full moon, they nuzzled each other and before they knew it it was daybreak. As they got up they saw this magnificent bright blue butterfly hovering overhead which made them feel that their lives were not over but showing a signal of hope. After that they both lived happily together for the rest of their lives.

If I could choose to be an animal, I would be an octopus. I would be an octopus because I would find it really cool to have suction cups, which would enable you to cling onto anything. The other reason I would want to be an octopus is it would be very useful to be able to slap eight people at once, and use the eight hands to grip many things at the same time.
