Holes Week 4: Connector

The time in the book where Zero runs away and Stanley goes after him and then they climb the big thumb together reminds me of a time when I went hiking with my family in the Drakensburg mountain range. This adventure took our family 10 hours to complete and it was like Stanley and Zero climbing the big thumb because my dad fell on the way coming down and cut himself on a sharp rock and then 1 of our water bottles fell out into the the bushes. This reminds me of when Stanley falls and drops his glass jars filled with dirty water.
